About Jess HALL Jr.

I have more than three decades of experience as a CEO and senior manager of large nonprofits, growing those organizations, improving lives, and building stronger communities. That includes CEO of Easter Seals in Washington, DC. And the American Red Cross Dallas Chapter, where I was Vice President during disasters such as Hurricane Katrina. That expertise is important in our local government.

My experience leading organizations, along with a masters degree in city management and planning, provide a deep understanding of how to lead Lago Vista through smart, sustainable growth — without sacrificing what we love about our city.

Council Goals

Lago Vista is a wonderful place to live and as a homeowner, parent, and grandparent, I want to keep our city great. I’ve always loved connecting with people. When issues in my neighborhood came to light, and as I learned about so many other issues and challenges facing Lago Vista, I realized this was a great opportunity to serve the community and make a positive impact.

We deserve a local government that puts our community first — protecting the natural beauty, small-town charm, and quality of life that make Lago Vista unique. I’m running for Lago Vista City Council to ensure growth is managed responsibly and thoughtfully, with our residents’ needs at the heart of every decision.

My goals are smart growth, community first, and transparency and accountability.

Smart Growth Ensure new development is carefully managed and doesn't overwhelm our water, sewer, or city services.

Community First Invest in streets, drainage, parks, and recreation — especially for young families.

Transparency & Accountability Demand clear communication and fair, community-focused decisions from City Council.
